New opening: Red Rooster at North Caboolture is a truly family affair!

Red Rooster: September 1, 2018

There is no question that Queenslanders love Red Rooster.  The iconic Aussie brand, that is 100% Australian owned and operated, started up in Perth in 1972. Then later in Queensland in 1978 with its first restaurant in the suburb of Deagon.

Red Rooster North Caboolture now open

Exactly 40 years later the newest Queensland Red Rooster restaurant has opened in North Caboolture. With this one, Red Rooster is taking the total number of restaurants in the state to 125.

Queensland is Red Rooster’s biggest market with the brand. Currently employing around 2,500 Queenslanders and extending from Mt Isa to Cairns; and from downtown Brisbane to the Gold Coast.

This latest build is just off the Bruce Highway and is the 6th new Red Rooster to go up in the state this year.  The drive through restaurant design is contemporary. Whereas the menu features everyone’s favourite roast chicken, along with the usual and much-loved sides, wraps, snacks and burgers.

Operated by experienced franchisees

At the helm are business partners and mates Falgun, Mayank and Rignesh. Falgun is an experienced Red Rooster franchisee. He has two other restaurants under his belt – Camp Hill in Brisbane and Gympie in the north.  Mayank and Rignesh worked together previously in retail. Despite being new to the brand, they bring enthusiasm and experience to their business and are excited about being in the Red Rooster family.

Falgun says that more than anything they are looking forward to being part of the local community.  The locals have warmly welcomed them in their first few weeks of trading. They have already served some great regular customers!

Between them the partners have five kids and the restaurant represents the next big challenge in both their career and families’ lives. Falgun commented that “We knew this would be a great spot for Red Rooster to set up camp and we are so excited about being in this area and feeding the community.  Up until we came along there weren’t too many good food options in the vicinity.”

Partners inspiration to join Red Rooster

All three men say that their biggest inspirations are their fathers and will be conducting business while firmly following the advice their fathers gave them. Both Falgun and Mayank are university graduates in engineering and Info Systems respectively while Rignesh and his wife were nurses in their previous life.  All three were keen to become successful in business and were drawn to Red Rooster’s Australian roots and good wholesome chicken food offering.
